These Terms explain the rules for using mentumi. Please read them before you sign up. If something is unclear, write to us — we would rather answer a question than have you guess.
1. Who we are
mentumi is operated by [Fontadela legal entity], company number [Company number], registered at [Registered address]. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company, and “you” means the person using mentumi.
2. These Terms
By creating an account or buying a membership, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy and Membership Policy are part of them. If a translation of these Terms differs from the English version, the English version applies.
3. What mentumi is
mentumi is an online learning platform. You take short courses made of bite-size lessons, practise inside each lesson and ask an AI mentor when something is unclear. mentumi works in a web browser on any device; there is nothing to install.
Our courses are educational. They help you learn and practise ideas; they are not professional, medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and they do not promise a particular result by a particular date.
4. Your account
- You need to be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Give us accurate details and keep your email address up to date — that is where we send receipts and renewal reminders.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has access, tell us at support@mentumi.com.
- One account is for one person. Please do not share it or sell access to it.
5. Membership and payments
A membership gives you access to mentumi courses for a set period — 4, 12 or 24 weeks. Before you pay, we show the price of the first period and the price it renews at. Your membership renews automatically at the renewal price until you cancel.
Payments are taken by our payment providers using the method you choose. Prices, renewal, failed payments and price changes are described in full in our Membership Policy.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel anytime in Profile → Membership. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Refunds follow our Membership Policy. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
7. AI mentors
Every mentor on mentumi is an AI character, not a real person. Mentors explain ideas, give examples and answer questions about the lesson.
- AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important with a reliable source.
- Mentors do not give professional, medical, legal or financial advice. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
- Please do not share sensitive personal information in your conversations with a mentor.
8. Content and ownership
Courses, lessons, mentor characters, texts, images and the mentumi name belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. With an active membership you may use them for your own personal learning. You may not copy, resell or republish them.
What you write in mentumi — answers, notes, messages to your mentor — stays yours. You allow us to store and process it so we can run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable use
Use mentumi to learn. Please do not:
- break, overload or try to get around the security of the service;
- copy courses in bulk, scrape the site or use automated tools to access it;
- try to make a mentor produce harmful, illegal or abusive content;
- use mentumi to harm, harass or deceive other people;
- break the law or anyone else’s rights while using mentumi.
If you do, we may limit or close your account. Where we can, we will tell you why first.
10. Changes to the service
We keep improving mentumi, so lessons, features and mentors may change. If we remove something important that you have paid for, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel.
11. Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep mentumi available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for decisions you make based on a lesson or a mentor’s answer.
Nothing in these Terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.
12. Ending your account
You can stop using mentumi at any time. To delete your account and your data, write to support@mentumi.com from the email linked to your account. Deleting your account does not cancel a running payment by itself — cancel your membership first.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law]. If you have a complaint, write to us first — most problems are solved quickly that way. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
14. Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters for you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
